Privacy policy
What this website collects, why, and what happens to it. The short version: very little, and it is never sold.

This policy covers the website athomechiropractic.info, run by At Home Chiropractic (Dr. Sylvia Frierson, DC), a mobile chiropractic practice serving the Upstate of South Carolina and the I‑85 corridor into North Carolina. “We” and “us” below mean the practice.
What we collect
When you use the contact form, we receive the details you type in: your first and last name, email address, phone number (optional), and your message. We use them only to reply to you.
When you simply visit the site, our web host automatically records standard technical information for security and to keep the site running, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. We don’t use this to identify you.
That is all. This site uses no cookies, no analytics, no advertising or tracking pixels, and no social media widgets that follow you around the web.
Please keep health details out of the form
The contact form is for general questions. Please don’t send detailed medical information through it. Your full health history is taken in person at your first visit, and information shared as part of your care is kept in your confidential patient record, which is governed by the confidentiality rules that apply to licensed chiropractors, not by this website policy.
Who handles your information
Form messages are delivered to Dr. Frierson by email. Our website host, Netlify, Inc., processes form submissions and server logs on our behalf so the site can work. We don’t sell, rent, or trade your information, and we don’t share it with anyone for marketing.
We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Links to other sites
Some buttons take you to other services, each with its own privacy policy that we don’t control:
- Online booking is handled by SendLynx. Anything you enter when booking is collected by that service.
- Instagram, Facebook and Google reviews links open those platforms.
- Image credits link to Wikimedia Commons and Flickr.
How long we keep it
Messages from the contact form are kept only as long as needed to answer your question and for reasonable record-keeping afterwards. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information you’ve sent us through this website by emailing sylviafrierson@gmail.com or calling 803-429-1231. We’ll respond within a reasonable time.
Security
The whole site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and form submissions are sent encrypted. No website can promise perfect security, which is one more reason to keep medical details out of the form.
Children
This website isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information online. Parents booking care for a child should contact us directly.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
